Wine tourism, Territory and sustainability

The panorama of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, magnificent in every season of the year, offers us the best of itself in summer. The vineyards that dot the entire territory are at the peak of their vegetative cycle and the picturesque villages, kissed by the sun, acquire a new light.

The wineries of this famous region attract a large number of wine tourists, so much so that overall spending in 2019 increased by 25% compared to the previous year. The emergency linked to the Covid19 pandemic will inevitably be reflected in the 2020 data, however the area was recognized by UNESCO and producers constantly worked to promote the region

The cellars' hospitality has been widely tested and proven; while the commitment of winemakers to the adoption of sustainable procedures is increasingly evident.  Preserving the peculiarities that make the wine region unique, as well as carrying out a duty to the land is in everyone's interest.

We at the Follador Company have always scrupulously followed the technical winemaking protocols, limited strictly to treatments necessary, so as not to compromise the environment or, obviously, the quantity and quality of our Prosecco Superiore.

As producers with a marked international vocation, we know that foreign markets are particularly sensitive to the issue of environmental sustainability: a point of view that we cannot underestimate, because it is an essential component of the brand's reputation.

We therefore consider the commitment to environmental sustainability as an integral part of the supply chain and as an essential requirement for the great success of Prosecco DOCG in the world. Our contribution also lies in our irreproachable business and production philosophy.
