RUIOL CASTEI – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato D.O.C.G. Extra Dry and TORRI DI CREDAZZO – Cru – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato D.O.C.G. Extra Dry receive the highest accolades at the competition for the top champagnes and sparkling wines in the world.
World champion RUIOL CASTEI – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato D.O.C.G. Extra Dry was awarded another GOLD at the Champagne & Sparkling Wine World Championships 2021, the only international competition judged by sparkling wine and champagne experts and considered the most important in the world.
TORRI DI CREDAZZO – Cru – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Millesimato D.O.C.G. Extra Dry followed suit with a SILVER medal, further testament of the unique character of the cultural landscape it comes from, where the favourable conditions of the microclimate combine with exceptional mineral notes and a particularly clayey and chalky soil.
“We are thrilled by these awards and the acknowledgement that our wines are a symbol of Italian excellence in the world – said Cristina Follador, the company’s Sales & Marketing Director – The feedback our family receives year after year inspires us to keep the bar of quality and innovation consistently high”.
With an elegant, contemporary and immediately recognisable corporate identity, the wines conjure up images of the ancient strongholds of Valdobbiadene, testimony of a long history which the Follador family has preserved and protected for nine generations. Gianfranco Follador, a pioneer in the world of sparkling wine thanks to his revolutionary method, shares this legacy with the whole family – his wife Italia and their four children Michele, Mariacristina, Francesca and Emanuela.
Follador may have a history that dates back 250 years, but it is a young and cosmopolitan business, aware of the importance of its past but with an innovative spirit that allows it to compete brilliantly on today’s market.
The brand can be found at all the most exclusive events in the world of culture, sport, solidarity and art; it is, for example, the Official Sponsor of the National Gallery in London for all its major exhibitions, an ambassador of Conegliano Valdobbiadene in the world.
